Instructions for Authors

Please refer to our Publication Ethics guidelines before submitting your manuscript.

Submission Guidelines

All manuscripts must be prepared in English. Documents should be double-spaced with wide margins. Each page must be numbered consecutively, including figures, tables, acknowledgments, and references. Manuscripts should be submitted as a single MS Word or PDF file, with all figures and tables included.

Terms of Submission

  • Submission implies all authors have read and agree to the journal’s policies.
  • Published content will be freely accessible online for non-commercial purposes.
  • Authors must ensure that submissions do not infringe copyright or third-party rights.
  • Manuscripts must not be submitted to any other journal simultaneously.

Peer-Review Process

The journal follows a rigorous, double-blind peer-review to ensure unbiased evaluation and maintain ethical standards.

Article Types

  • Case Reports: 1000–3000 words, unlimited figures and references.
  • Clinical Images: Maximum 2 images, up to 150 words.
  • Special Issue Collections: 1000–5000 words per article, 5–10 articles per collection.
  • Editorials: 500–1500 words.
  • Commentaries: No strict limits on length.

Manuscript Format

All submissions should follow this structure:

  1. Cover Letter
  2. Abstract
  3. Introduction
  4. Case Report
  5. Discussion
  6. Conclusion
  7. Acknowledgments
  8. References

Cover Letter Requirements

  • Declaration of any potential conflicts of interest.
  • Confirmation that all co-authors approve the submission.
  • Statement that the manuscript has not been published or submitted elsewhere.
  • If part of a special issue, include the special issue title.

Title and Author Information

  • Full title of the manuscript
  • Complete names of all authors
  • Institutional mailing addresses
  • Email addresses of all authors

Abstract

Provide a concise 100–250 word abstract summarizing the study.

Introduction

Briefly introduce the topic and highlight the study objectives.

Case Report

Ensure participant confidentiality. By submitting, authors consent for the case report data to be freely available for non-commercial research purposes.

Discussion and Conclusion

Present key findings, statistical analyses, and significance of results.

Acknowledgments

Mention individuals who contributed technically but do not meet authorship criteria. Obtain consent before including names.

References

Use the Vancouver referencing style. Number references sequentially in the text.

Tables

Number tables consecutively with titles and column headings. Include sources and explanatory notes below the table, not in the heading.

Figures

  • TIFF format recommended for diagrams
  • JPEG for photographs
  • Resolution: approximately 300 dpi

Proofs

Corresponding authors will receive PDF galley proofs via email. Corrections must be returned within 3 days.

Article Processing Charges (APC)

Articles are Open Access and freely available online. APC ranges from USD 950–2700, depending on article type, funding, and country income status. Payment is required upon acceptance. Fees are non-refundable.

Copyright and Licensing

Authors retain full copyright. Published content is freely available for non-commercial use. Plagiarized content will not be considered.

Author Agreement

By submitting, authors agree to editorial, publication, and APC policies.

Withdrawal Policy

  • Withdrawal before peer review: free
  • Withdrawal after peer review: 50% of APC charged to cover editorial and production costs

Disclosure Policy

Authors must provide:

  • Author contributions
  • Conflict of interest statements
  • Written acknowledgments for cited content or individuals
  • Consent for use of clinical images or copyrighted material
